The calculator computes the fees of your own lawyer in first-instance court proceedings from the RVG fee table (valid since 1 June 2025): procedural fee (1.3), hearing fee (1.2), optionally the settlement fee (1.0), the expense allowance and 19 % VAT. It does not calculate an out-of-court business fee.

For dismissal: 3 gross monthly salaries (employment law). For tenancy disputes: 12 monthly rents. For traffic accidents: the amount of damages. 2. Define the type of activity: Out-of-court advice: initial consultation max. EUR 190 net (consumers). Out-of-court representation: business fee 0.5-2.5 (No. 2300 VV RVG); more than 1.3 (threshold fee) only if the work was extensive or difficult. Court representation: procedural fee (1.3) + hearing fee (1.2). Settlement: settlement fee (1.0 in court proceedings, 1.5 out of court). 3. Read off the fee from the RVG table (valid since 1 June 2025): At a value in dispute of EUR 5,000: one full fee = EUR 354.50. At EUR 10,000: EUR 652. At EUR 25,000: EUR 927. 4.
