Choose an allocation key: by room size: private area proportionally + shared area split equally. Per head: total rent / number of residents (the simplest key). Mixed model: base rent by area, utilities per head. 4. Calculate the share: per person: (own square metres / total area) x base rent + proportional shared area + utilities per head. 5.
